What is Pivot?

Pivot is a place for men into men.

Pivot is a community space for men into men, and was formerly known as the Men’s Wellness Center. In response to ever changing times, the Men’s Wellness Center realized as it approached its fourth anniversary that it was time for a change. Hence the birth of Pivot on June 16, 2010.

With help from RAIN Agency, the new branding highlights the focus of the space as central to a shift in thinking about sexual health; a place central to community, both physically and metaphorically; and a space that serves to bring about change.

So Pivot is a community space? Big deal, so is a living room. What do we do that’s so special?

Pivot is a space dedicated to the physical, personal, and social health of gay/bi/trans and all men into men. We offer a variety of programming that is both social and educational in nature, a drop in space (that’s right, sip our coffee and use our WiFi for free, we don’t mind), and STD/HIV testing.
