Pivot offers FREE STD & HIV testing for gay/bi/trans & all men having sex with men (because we think that’s hot). All testing is walk-in and done on a first come, first served basis. Appointments are not taken. Due to high demand, slots can fill quickly. If all slots are full we will not be able to see you even if you arrive before the posted end of services. Doors generally open 30 minutes prior to HIV/STD testing for registration.

For STD screenings, we test different parts of your body, using different methods, depending on the type of action you’re getting. This can include a blood sample (syphilis) and a urine sample, rectal (butt) swab and throat swab for gonorrhea and chlamydia. Results are available by phone within 7 days.

All our HIV testing is rapid – meaning you know what’s up in 20 minutes. You choose between an oral swab or finger stick blood drop sample (because we believe in your right to choose).

We think testing is sexy, and want youth to also. Luckily, CHATpdx saved the day. Pivot is now able to offer youth HIV testing nights in a fun, friendly, and youth-specific atmosphere.

Anyone age 24 and under is welcome! (not just the guys this time!) Free rapid (mouth swab) HIV tests, Wii games, board games, food, and plenty of safer sex supplies are always available. Come alone, or bring friends.
